How to choose a CRM as a small business: seven questions
A CRM is chosen for years, so it pays to think through seven questions first. This article goes through them, starting from daily use rather than a feature list.

The seven questions
- What do we do in spreadsheets or on paper today that the CRM must take over?
- How many people will use it, and who may see what?
- Is the interface Hungarian, and does it link to Hungarian invoicing?
- What will it cost in a year, when the team grows or a new feature is needed?
- Can the data be taken out if we want to switch?
- Where is the data stored?
- How long does it take to roll out, and is there help?
How the price is built matters more than the starting price
A per-user fee grows with the team; tiered pricing asks for a whole higher tier for one feature; a per-module fee grows where you start using something new. It is worth working out today's cost and next year's.
HelloTeam's free part: Deals, Tasks, Calendar, Mailboxes, Reports; the 51 add-on modules are €4.90 to €12.90 a month each.
Try it on real data
Two weeks of real use judges a CRM, not a demo. Load a real customer list from CSV and take one quote from first contact to invoice.
