How do I switch from Excel or MiniCRM.hu?
From a spreadsheet and from MiniCRM.hu alike, you move to HelloTeam CRM with a CSV file: Contacts → Import recognises Hungarian and English headers on its own, and you map the rest.
Updated:
From Excel or Google Sheets
- Make the first row the header (for example First name, Last name, Email, Phone, Company).
- Save the sheet as a CSV file; a semicolon delimiter and accented headers are fine.
- In HelloTeam: Contacts → Import, upload, map, preview, run.
- If a column has no match, create a custom field first and the importer offers it as a target.
The fields the importer fills:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address: unique within the company
- Phone
- Mobile
- Job title
- Company name: created if it does not exist
- Status: lead, prospect, customer or inactive
- Source
- Birthday: YYYY-MM-DD
- City
- Postal code
- Address
- Country: two-letter code (HU, DE)
- Notes
- Subscribed: yes/no: the suppression list wins
- Owner's email address: the colleague must already have an account
- Tags, comma separated
From MiniCRM.hu
- In MiniCRM.hu, open the module whose contacts you are moving and export the list view as CSV. If you have several modules, export per module: you will import them per module here too.
- Open the file and look at the header row: this is what you will see in the mapping step. Accented headers and a semicolon delimiter are fine.
- Here: Contacts → Import, upload, map, preview, run.
The source column names are examples: MiniCRM.hu lets you rename fields, so yours may differ. Whatever does not map itself, you assign in the mapping step.
| MiniCRM.hu column | HelloTeam field | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Vezetéknév | Last name | |
| Keresztnév | First name | |
| Email address: unique within the company | ||
| Telefon | Phone | |
| Mobil | Mobile | |
| Cég | Company name: created if it does not exist | |
| Beosztás | Job title | |
| Város | City | |
| Irányítószám | Postal code | |
| Cím | Address | |
| Megjegyzés | Notes | |
| Státusz | Status: lead, prospect, customer or inactive | Their stage names are not ours; map to lead/prospect/customer/inactive, or leave it and the record becomes a lead. |
| Hírlevél | Subscribed: yes/no: the suppression list wins | |
| Egyedi mezők | Not imported directly | Create the same fields first under Settings → Fields; the importer then offers them as targets. |
What does not travel in a CSV
- Deals do not travel in the contact CSV: export them separately and load them under Deals → Import (title, pipeline, stage, value, currency). Stage history cannot be moved: a deal starts in the stage it had at import.
- Correspondence: connect your mailbox, and incoming mail files itself from then on. Old mail stays in the old system.
- Invoices stay in the system that issued them; your Számlázz.hu or Billingo account is unchanged, you simply issue from here from now on.
Questions
Will contacts duplicate if I run it twice?
Not for rows with an email: the address is unique within the company, so a second run updates the existing record. Rows without one are created again: the Duplicates page offers them for merging on phone or name + company.
What about unsubscribed people?
If the file's newsletter column says no, the contact is not subscribed. If they unsubscribed here before, the suppression list outranks the file.
Can I import on the free plan?
Yes: CSV import and export are for everybody, on the free plan too.
