Proforma invoice (díjbekérő)
A proforma invoice (díjbekérő) is a request for payment sent before delivery or before the invoice; it is not an invoice.
Updated:
Explanation
A proforma is often used for payment in advance: the buyer pays against it and the actual invoice comes later. As it is not an invoice, it is not reported to NAV's Online Számla system.
If an advance payment arrives on a proforma, the Hungarian VAT Act requires VAT and an invoice (an advance invoice) for the advance too. Check the details with your accountant; this page is not tax advice.
How HelloTeam does it
HelloTeam's Invoicing module issues proformas too; they are never sent for reporting, because they are not invoices.
Module: Invoicing (€7.90 / month).
